Daniel “Danny” Linaker was born in Manchester, England, but now calls Sydney, Australia, home. Although school wasn’t his favourite place (he’ll admit he could’ve tried harder!), he has always found his own path in life. After dabbling in carpentry, security, and eventually mastering the art of fixing printers and photocopiers, Danny took a leap across the world and proudly became a dual citizen of both the UK and Australia.
Despite being someone who can’t sit still long enough to read a book, Danny somehow found himself writing one! His first children’s book, Coen the Unicorn, is inspired by a very special little boy who dances to his own tune. Danny’s message? Embrace your uniqueness—just like Coen does.
When he’s not busy repairing industrial gates across New South Wales or hanging out with his amazing housemates, you’ll find Danny sharing stories and laughs with his honorary family. He believes every kid (and adult!) should be proud of who they are, and he’s here to help spread that joy one unicorn story at a time.
